…gone to the grocery for a specific product, bought $50 worth of groceries, and only when you drive into the garage, remember the (whatever)? In my case, orange juice.
Oh well, I had to go to another store to buy an assortment of items for some recipes I want to make, and I needed to drop another box of books at my friend’s house. I could do both, and get the orange juice. So, do you think I came home with orange juice?

Still in the freezer at the store

Not only does that happen to moi, but it happens often. For example: hubby wanted tortellinis with peas and alfredo sauce for dinner the other nite. I was going to the store anyway, so put the ingredients on my list. Got home with the groceries and…no peas. Hubby was gracious enough to go back for me, though.

The older I get, the more scatterbrained I am. I have to write EVERYTHING down or have a visual memory jogger. If I’m running errands, it helps if each stop is written on a separate piece of paper; the passenger seat is my “Inbox”; as I complete each thing I remove the reminder from the seat. The system works well unless I happen to have a passenger!
