Today was a great day. After a brief shopping trip, I got to have lunch with my girlfriends. We sat and talked for almost two hours, enjoying a glass of wine with our tostadas and enchiladas. After stopping for groceries I made it home in time to rake leaves while the sun was still shining. It’s cold here, but the sun made it tolerable.
Now I am home alone, hubby having Christmas with his mother, so I can eat anything I want for dinner. Since I had such a large lunch, something small and light should do. Hah! I ate a slice of ham and then a small bag of party mix made by a member of my daughter’s church and so graciously shared with us. It was very yummy. Just my kind of dinner. Good thing my husband is usually home for dinner so I don’t eat like this on a regular basis!

When Hubby was away from home a couple of months doing work training, I managed to eat pretty healthy most nights (although it was in front of the computer screen!)
We’ll be shoveling snow Christmas day. Yes, the first wave of the storm has come through. Last night was 7 inches, tonight has already had about 3 and is continuing… It will be interesting how much we get. Because it’s coming in waves, they seem to have time to plow in between. Then again, plowing is quite the operation here. Have a wonderful Christmas!
