Summer in the city

The warm weather came back to San Francisco this week and stayed. I apologized for bringing Fresno-like weather with me when I went into my pro bono job this week and was told that these warm days are greeted with great delight. My office mates were overjoyed all week with the warm temps.  I was crabby. Where were those chilling breezes I have come to love as I walk through the canyons of skyscrapers? What was I supposed to wear when all my hot weather clothing hangs in my Fresno closets? With blinds tightly shut against the raging morning sun, I can’t even enjoy the view for which I am paying dearly. My air conditioned house in Fresno was looking mighty good as summer came to SF.

I did enjoy a rooftop barbecue at the San Francisco Chronicle building on Thursday.  Probably couldn’t have done this on a typical windy day.
