I have been invited to a cookie exchange (more like a cookie potluck) in a few weeks, and not knowing which cookie recipe to take, I am trying some new ones. Today was brown sugar cookie, pictured here. They are really good and will definitely be made again because they are so easy.

For some reason I just haven’t succeeded as a cookie baker in Hawaii. Oven temperature? Sigh… I don’t know. My girlfriend gave me her recipe for these amazing Rice Krispies cookies and I tried making it TWICE and it wasn’t the same.
At one time in my life I was a champion cookie baker, but now I don’t ever make them because I don’t EAT them. These look awfully good, though. 🙂
Please post easy recipes! These look simple and good.
The recipe belongs to Crisco. It was attached to the Crisco oil bottle but uses Crisco shortening. I use Crisco butter flavor that I buy in cubes. That’s just the best invention out there, as far as I’m concerned, for baking.
thanks Delaine!
