I’ve no idea what kind I weather you may be having in your neck of
the woods, but here in sunny California, it’s not. It’s a cold, rainy day that is quite gray. A good day to heat the oven and fill the house with the smell of sugar and cinnamon. These hearty oatmeal cookies just hit the spot with lots of spices as well as tiny Zante currants.

Cinnamon and oatmeal cookies – - – sounds like a BIG YUM to me!!!
I use an oat and grain mix as well as whole wheat flour, hoping to make them a bit healthier. Or so, I think.
I can smell them from here!
Oh I love the tiny Zante raisons. Much better than the big old gooey raisons. Dianne
I love raisins of all kinds-dark and golden. The currants came in our CSA box at Christmas time, a special treat. We get the grapes from the same farm earlier in the year. It’s a double blessing.
That’s currents of course.
