Cookies for a rainy afternoon

I’ve no idea what kind I weather you may be having in your neck of

20130106-152714.jpg the woods, but here in sunny California, it’s not. It’s a cold, rainy day that is quite gray. A good day to heat the oven and fill the house with the smell of sugar and cinnamon. These hearty oatmeal cookies just hit the spot with lots of spices as well as tiny Zante currants.

  3. Oh I love the tiny Zante raisons. Much better than the big old gooey raisons. Dianne

    • I love raisins of all kinds-dark and golden. The currants came in our CSA box at Christmas time, a special treat. We get the grapes from the same farm earlier in the year. It’s a double blessing.
