October begins

September swept through here so quickly. It was a super-busy month and October is lined up to be the same. My calendar is filled until the last few days and I’m sure someone will grab those days, too, giving me little time to sit around and mull over my days.

Our grandchildren arrive tomorrow for a five-day visit. Pumpkins were finally in the store so I bought a few for the porch:

This is the door hangar I’ll use this year:

Since Leeya loved a book I got her about the first day of school, I picked up two books for Halloween while I was at Target.

  3. Have fun with your grandkids, you will be busy in a good way!

  4. I wish I could put pumpkins on my porch now, but it gets the afternoon sun; the pumpkins would be rotten by Halloween.

  5. I love Halloween. My goodness, is it here already.

  6. I love your Halloween door hanger. Everything will be so festive at your house. I miss doing these seasonal fun things here in Hawaii. By the way, I mentioned you in my post for today. šŸ™‚
