Sweet November 6-sky view

The weather here has been amazing. It’s cold in the mornings–46 degrees or so–but very warm in the afternoons–70s. Dry, clear, absolutely beautiful days.

The sun is now up in the mornings when we arise so that makes for nicer days, too. I don’t need my daylight at evening, but rather prefer it in the morning when I’m most energetic.

We are grateful for the dry weather as we have had the painters at our house this week. It’s been over 20 years since the exterior has been painted so it’s nice to get the stucco repaired and the trim looking nice again. Eventually we’ll get around to painting indoors. Today was a bit claustrophobic as all the windows were covered for most of the day, but they used a plastic that let light in; I just couldn’t see the sky until I actually went outside.

The next two days will be busy as I am doing school tours at Kearney Mansion. Hopefully I’ll remember to get my sweet November pics.

  1. I’m enjoying the brighter mornings, but the past two days it’s been dark when I’ve driven home from work

  2. I wish it could be a little warmer here. Our high temperature is the same as your low. But there are places where it’s already winter! Minnesota had its first snowstorm already, so I should be counting my blessings! 🙂

  3. gorgeous photo, sounds like the perfect weather, lucky you!
