The eve of Christmas Eve

It is quiet here and sunny. Terry had an early morning workshop to attend but I’ve no where to go today. I’m hoping to finally rake those leaves that are covering the front lawn. Terry has still not pruned the mulberry tree out there and the millions of leaves just keep falling.

We drove across town last night to walk the decorated streets of a small suburb and take photos of the lighted store windows. Downtown Fresno no longer decorates for Christmas so there is little to see there. Nor would I feel real safe darting along the blocks of empty storefronts one finds there.

Old Town Clovis, on the other side, though, does a beautiful job with its store windows.

I love walking city streets, day or night. Wish we lived where we could do it on a daily basis like we did in San Francisco.

After we drove back home, we had blackberry pie that I baked earlier in the day.
