The year is ending

I realized I hadn’t posted since Christmas, and now it’s New Year’s Eve. Yikes. I’ve been busy. We prepped for the kids’ visit, attended church, took a friend to lunch, and suddenly we had a houseful of company. Our daughter’s family arrived late Sunday night, after they had wrapped up their Christmas celebrations.

We are busy with grandkid activities this week. Movies, trip into the hills to visit goats and the other grandma, and watching lots of cartoons. It’s a whirlwind of meals, laundry, bedtimes, and all the other sundry child care work. I’m now being summoned to play a card game so this will be cut short. Happy New Year.
